Заявление группы "Banda Bassotti"

3 Мая мы должны были выступать на антифашистском фестивале в Манчестере.
Но после того как организаторы поняли, что Банда Бассотти организовывала Антифашистский караван 9 Мая и действительно поддерживает борьбу антифашистов в Новороссии, решили отменить наш концерт.

Они говорят, что не имеют точного представления о том, что происходит на Донбассе. И не хотят группу, которая поддерживает борьбу на Донбассе.
Им понадобилось три месяца, чтобы запретить концерт и мы об этом узнали случайно только вчера.

К сожалению, даже в так называемой левой Европе предпочитают оставаться в стороне и наблюдать за убийствами в Одессе, убийствами и бомбёжками больниц из Киева, убийствами на автобусных остановках Донецка и не принимать никаких позиций.

Наша позиция такова - мы будем всегда на стороне антифашистов.

COMUNICATO DELLA BANDA BASSOTTI

Il 3 maggio dovevamo suonare a Manchester ad un Festival Antifascista. Gli organizzatori dopo essersi resi conto che la Banda Bassotti organizza la Carovana Antifascista il 9 maggio e di fatto supporta la lotta degli antifascisti in Novorossjia, hanno deciso di cancellare il nostro concerto.
Dicono che non hanno ben chiaro cosa accade in Donbass e non vogliono un gruppo che supporta la lotta in Donbass.
Ci hanno messo tre mesi per cancellare il concerto e abbiamo saputo la notizia solo ieri per caso.
Purtroppo anche nella cosiddetta sinistra europea si preferisce stare a guardare stragi come quella di Odessa, stragi agli ospedali bombardati da Kiev, stragi alle fermate degli autobus di Donesk, senza prendere posizione.
Noi ci siamo schierati. Staremo sempre dalla parte degli Antifascisti.

Banda Bassotti - Statement

The third of May we should have played at the Manchester Antifascist festival that goes under the name of 0161.
The organizers after they realised that the band Banda Bassotti supports the struggle of the antifascists in Novorossjia and that we are the organizers of the "Carovana Antifascista" (Antifascist Caravan) that will lead us again in Donbass the 9th of this coming May,have decided to cancel our gig.
They say that it's not clear to them what the situation is in Donbass (!!) and they prefer not to have a political band that supports the struggle down there.
It took them four months to cancel the concert that was confirmed in October 2014 but we have been informed of the news only yesterday.
Unfortunaly,even in the so called European left-wing they prefer to stand and watch the massacre of the people of Odessa,bombed hospitals from Kiev or the bombed buses at the bus stop in Donetsk without taking sides.
We took our side.
We will always be by the Antifascist side.

COMUNICADO DE LA BANDA BASSOTTI

El próximo día 3 de Mayo, teníamos previsto participar con un concierto en el Festival Antifascista en Manchester. Los organizadores del evento, tras conocer que la Banda Bassotti son los organizadores de la próxima Caravana Antifascista para participar el 9 de Mayo en la Fiesta del Día de la Victoria y que de hecho, apoyan la lucha de los antifascistas en Novorossjia, pues han decidido suspender nuestro concierto.
Dicen no tener claro que es lo que está sucediendo en Donbass y que no quieren a un grupo de música que apoyan la lucha en Donbass.
Y para susperder nuestro concierto, han tardado tres meses. Tampoco nos lo han comunicado y hemos tenido conocimiento de la noticia ayer por casualidad.
Desgraciadamente, también la considerada izquierda europea, se conforma sólo con mirar las masacres, como aquella de Odessa, masacres en los hospitales, los bombardeos de Kiev, la masacre en la parada de autobús en Donesk....y con todo esto sin posicionarse.
Nosotros si tenemos claro de parte de quien estamos. Siempre estaremos de la parte de los Antifascistas.
